First time I have noticed the push button was marketed toward men with tough beards. Interesting.

Isn't it the same head as the three previous razors?

I had a very enjoyable save this morning with the Gem Damaskeen OC, Wickham Irish fern and the RozoRock Bruce.

A brilliant little razor which i do not use enough, 2 passes with some touch up for a DFS++ finish. I may have got the angle a little out on the throat as the Witch Hazel indicated as such.
just as well James' new splash does not sting as much as the original versions.
Stay safe and enjoy your day All

Perhaps it is a change from avoiding the five o'clock shadow since that would indicate performance.

So, this model being introduced around the same time, late 1950's, as an unmentionable dual edge had red, blue, and bare TTO knobs the later an adjustable. Apparently,  the race was on to provide a  more individual performance razor.

ASR was running on fumes, the Star unmentionable may have been the best thing they had going.

Cold Water Rinse
Tabac Shave Soap
The Brush B-3 by Tom
Unmentionable razor by Tom
Unmentionable SP
CWR
Tabac AS

The Tabac Shave Soap lathered well with The Brush B-3 by Tom Badger. Two passes and touch ups with the Unmentionable razor by Tom with an Unmentionable SP gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
