Ever-Ready 1000
Windsor shave stick
Star Super Six
Gem PTFE
Squadron Empire

Great shave! First use of the new Star and it is a great razor with just a nice amount of blade feel.

13/10/21
Pre      - Shower, Cold water face rinse
Brush  - Vintage Badger Travel Brush
Soap   - OSP No. 08
Razor  - Unmentionable
Blade  - Whoops
Post    - Cold water Rinse, TC's infused Witch Hazel
Balm   - Barts Balm Amber and Moroccan Jasmine Balm & Lotion
A/S     - Pinaud Brandy Spice

I had the Culmak on standby today just in case the little Vintage set brush disintegrated during use. No need really, i loaded for about 25 seconds and set about a face painting / scrub lather, i was really surprised how well it worked, yes it needed a bit longer but the lather was perfect. The Razor / Blade combo worked really well during the WTG and then an ATG pass for a really comfortable finish. I enjoyed that!

The "little fella" standing between 2 x 26mm knots. The handle is definitely a natural material, i am not sure if it is Bone, Horn or Ivory, the handle unscrews at the mid join and has a flat unscrew-able bottom disk to close every thing up (3 Pieces). It has plenty of backbone and a bit scritch. It is quite well made and sturdy, it shed about 3 hairs during the 2 pass face lather and looks OK after a rinse.

I may have to add a Wee Scot to the collection now.

Stay and enjoy your day All

So, this model being introduced around the same time, late 1950's, as an unmentionable dual edge had red, blue, and bare TTO knobs the later an adjustable. Apparently,  the race was on to provide a  more individual performance razor.

ASR was running on fumes, the Star unmentionable may have been the best thing they had going.

I'll take your word for it.  Confused

The Williams Mug Soap lathered well with The Brush B-3 by Tom Badger. I did pass one with an Unmentionable with an Unmentionable razor and the second pass and touch ups with the Darwin-Stoll Jr. 3D printed razor by Roger Quintero with a Gem SS PTFE blade which gave me a close, comfortable shave.
