1902 Star - GEM ptfe - riverrun adapter - Purely Skinful Raw Bear Fat Cream
This wedge adapter is of the riverrun design. I was successful fitting it to this 1902 Star. In this razor it presents the blade (gem ptfe) apex pretty much as it would be using the correct size tangless wedge blade. I noticed immediately the adjustment in angle to the skin as I started to use it. I use this frame mostly with a modern blade and no adapter, so my muscle memory needed retuning with this adapter. It made for a really absorbing and fun shave on yet another fine Sunday afternoon.
