What's that then? A quarter blade?
I'm planning to send him a list of errata (it's growing) and might include this.

Well that's disappointing.
It most certainly is. Both are about a cm too long. Anybody aware of any modern blades (or useable vintage) that are about a centimeter shorter than a DE blade?

Would a trimmed injector or AC be worth a try?

Possibly. I was thinking of a short jaguar or tondeo blade, they might fit without heading to the toolshed. No worries, something will work out.
