The micromatic did a quick job and took care of it easy. I keep a goatee too. Wife and Daugther love it. Deleting it from the face will have dire consquences, almost blasphemy !!
Mine likes my goatee but never says a word when I shave it off. Now if I leave the toilet seat up.....thats another matter.

I have been "asked" not to shave my goatee but, every now and then, I say I'm going to shave it and get the look. It's for the best though because I don't love shaving my chin anyway.

I've had a beard for more years than I can remember. I'm pretty sure but not completely positive but I don't think I've shaved my bears as long as my kids have been alive and my oldest is 13.

I maintained facial hair for most of my adult life. After going through some professional transitions, I was having to interview. I already knew that my age and experience was against me since most managers were my children's age. My daughter said my beard made me look older so I got rid of it. And, grey hair does not behave like the beard hair of our youth. Mine got flat looking instead of bushy as before.
Here I am on a Spring run on the Little River in the national park.
