RE: A new handle for an old razor. - mayer57619 - 06-27-2021 Wow! That is some amazing work. Glad the head went to a good home as it was just laying around here. As to I.D...it did have a little piece of white or cream handle on it originally, but it was melted like it was put in an oven. What's halfway between E and G? Where are the experts when you need them? BBS across the street should have a look. First use of this re-handled Schick still not sure if it's a late E or a G. Either way it shaved great. I will have to do a comparison shave with ones I know to be a G and an E soon. I made the handle slightly longer than the ones on my other E or Gs and it feels wonderful. Although if I make another I think I will go a bit bigger yet. And thank you for the compliment. I'm glad you approve of what I did with it. That's what I thought, but couldn't see it well enough, I'm gonna stick with '45~'46 transition model, using E spring on G razor, but it has a nice handle and it doesn't live in the landfill, that's what matters!
