Just a de-spining of the Gem and maybe a snip of the back corners if they catch. I can't remember but it should be evident when you load it. Congratsulations !

Nice acquisitions! The Autostrop is such an interesting looking razor and appears to be in great condition. Below is a thread about the using a Gem blade, compliments of Mr. Google!

@tony'schin, cool acquisitions. I didn't know there was a slant that took injector blades.

Yeah i read through Pauls post (a fellow TSR member), it seems though, the GEM maybe a little short, not sure, i will have a play once it arrives.

They get a good write up across the road, i saw it for a good price, therefore, the collection expanded a bit more. 
EDIT:- The head "positions" the AC blade in a "slant" positon, rather than twisting it, apparently.

Ah. Thank you for the clarification. I didn't look closely enough. I have a few AC format razors but personally prefer the width of injector blades.
