Mine has a seam, like cast aluminum, but seems heavy for aluminum. Zink alloy perhaps?

Mine has the casting seem too. It almost looks like lead to me but I'm sure it's not lead.

Did you do something to that handle? I have only seen it in black.
Nice, Some of the G3 sets have that handle in black. It is not bad at all but I prefer the bakelite handle that is in other sets. That one is great looking though!!

I missed shaving today because I was waiting for a special razor to arrive in the mail. It was supposed to be here today but it got delayed in the Detroit hub. Unfortunately I've had this happen MANY MANY times.
