You should try NO!  Their soaps are tallow based and the scents are great.

Cold Water Shave
Pre: Neutrogena Soap Face Wash, Noxzema Cream as PreShave
Razor: Gem Damaskeene
Blade: Gem SS PFTE (3)
Brush: Simpson Trafalgar T2
Soap: Mike’s Natural Soap - Orange, Cedarwood  & Black Pepper
Post: Osma Alum Block, T.N. Dickinson’s Witch Hazel, Pinaud Clubman Lime Sec, Nivea Sensitive Balm

First shave with the Gem Damaskeene and I completed two and one half passes with no issues. It was going so well that I found myself chasing a better shave and had to stop myself. I found it to be a real efficient and smooth razor, that gave me my best wet shave yet with very little irritation. The Mike's Soap is new to me and I'm enjoying it so far. It has a great scent and creates "buttercream" lather (for Wchnu) that is slick and protective.

I added a couple of extra shots so you could see before (over on the Catch of the Day thread) and after. Other than a few scratches on the left side of the cap, the plating is solid and has good shine everywhere. Hard to believe that no polish was used.

Hope everyone's weekend is going well!

Well, not so much fancy but trying to find a way to display multiple views in minimal space. The downside is if you zoom in there isn't as much detail as if I had posted three individual photos.

26/09/21
SEptember
Pre - Shower, Cold water Face rinse
Brush - Simpson Chubby 2
Soap - Signature Soap Leodis
Razor - Yaqi Katana V1 in Space Chrome
Blade - Permasharp
Post - Cold water Rinse, TC's infused Witch Hazel
Balm - BartsBalm Tester F
A/S - Pinaud Gents Gin

Is been a while since i used the Original Yaqi Katana, the fit and finish of this one is spot on.
Loaded with a Permasharp half blade i find it is a very efficient tool.
An easy face lather from the CH2 and Signature soap, the brush holding plenty for the shave, 3 passes later i am as smooth as silk.
I little indication from the splash but nothing major.
Stay safe and enjoy your day all

Lather Catcher Sunday's Shave
[Image: zcws.jpg]

Cold Water Rinse
Proraso White Shaving Cream
SlimGem Silvertip Badger
Ever-Ready Lather Catcher
Personna GEM SS PTFE
CWR
Pinaud Citrus Musk EDC

The Proraso White Shaving Cream lathered well with SlimGem Silvertip Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Ever-Ready Lather Catcher with a Personna GEM SS PTFE gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Citrus Musk EDC. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
