Wow! I wonder how that happened? Thanks for point it out TobyC! It is good to clarify that I only finished off one jar of Branston pickle and have only one unopened jar in the cupboard. Don't want to come across as being too greedy!  Big Grin

Just blame it on your device, that's what Wchnu does. Big Grin

Can I blame it on the forum software? It does have some bugginess now and again. I can assure you that I didn't type and post the exact same thing twice. Unless...my alter ego did it!  Big Grin

But he is smiling there and she did seem happy to have found him even though it's obvious he isn't wealthy. So I too will assume they lived happily ever after and let my eyes water up a tiny bit in happiness for them.

I will check out Mary Pickford.

Buster is definitely my favorite so far. And his story is incredible. There is a documentary with him in it that tells a lot of his story. If you haven't seen it you really should. If you have trouble finding it let me know and I'll find a link. I don't remember the title right now. And if it's been a while you should watch Steamboat Bill Jr. again too. I think it's one of my favorites of his. I plan on watching it again soon.

So, I imagine Chaplin goes to work delivering flowers, they marry, and have 2.3 children...LOL!!

Yes, I love Steamboat Bill Jr.

There is a modern silent that I absolutely adore, The Artist 2011

I am pleased you enjoyed, Greg.

Definately a feel good happy ending movie. Perhaps good karma. He helped her and she helped him or win win.

What a lovely morning to sit at the dining room table drinking coffee with the windows open, temperature 52F/11C, listening to a few birds sing, the squirrels barking in the pines, the hummingbirds zipping in for a quick drink and the sun creeping across the lawn while a Phoebe hunts for bugs.  Cool While it's been a moderate Summer compared to many in the SE, I'm always glad to see Fall arrive with cooler temps!

It's cool and raining here but I don't mind the rain. As long as it's not a violent enough storm that the wind shakes the house or blow vehicles around on the road I rather enjoy rainy days. Always have. I'm glad for the cooler weather too Old Sarge

I'm sorry TobyC, did you miss it when I sang it the first time? Do you want me to sing it again? Big Grin Those are some pretty cool shades and sandals on that sketch of me! Cool
