Happy Micromatic Monday -- and I hope you celebrate today with a Dream shave  (get it?)!!!
I actually did set up a dream shave with 3 of my favorite items:  the Micromatic, B&M's Hallows shave soap and a RR Beehive handled synthetic.  It all came together for a "honey" of a shave (get it, beehive....honey?).  I'm not a fan of the imagery that Barrister & Mann chose for their Hallows soap container, but even in my nasally-handicapped state, the fragrance still works for me.  Hope you have a great one!!!

I was just thinking I should shave with my Treet then I open up this thread and see that Whiterook used his today. I guess I'll take that as a sign of confirmation.

BMMOC/PTFE blade, Chiseled Face soap, Aqua Velva AS

I trust we all had a wonderful start of the work week. Hard to believe it's near February. Nice high 50's F and sun, so no complaints.

Well I finally got around to shaving today. I went with the Treet on its beautiful Red Baton handle.
The shave was quite enjoyable and the finish is comfortable and close. This was the first time using my Fuzzy Ind. Rt. 66 by Fluffy with a freshly set Oumo Boar hair knot.

RE: Micromatic Monday - srqshaver - 01-25-2022

Pre-shave: Van Der Hagen Shave Butter
Lather: Proraso Red
Brush: Jayaruh 347 Boar Bristle
Razor: GEM MicroMatic Clog Pruf Peerless
Blade: Personna PTFE Stainless (1)
Aftershave: None
Post-shave: Nivea Sensitive balm

I tried my new to me GEM Clog Pruf Peerless with a new Personna PTFE blade. There was a little harshness under the chin along the jawline that I'm thinking was mostly due to a new blade. It didn't last long after the shave which ended as a DFS+. It was a good first use of the razor and I look forward to trying it again soon.

I'm thinking I'll do a GEM razor focus sometime soon since I have a decent collection that doesn't get used as often as it should.
