It is currently 51. Windows open. Soon I'll be up on a trail and then back for some yard work before biking to the store. Ah, so you are in Metro Huntsville! Lovely city with the big Army base and NASA, been there once for an Avett Brothers concert...nice scenic drive from Metro ATL. I've had mountain bikes going back more than 30 years, but haven't pulled it off the garage wall in a couple of years now. Bought current Specialized bikes for wife and I when stationed in Denver in early 00's, which has a strong cycling scene with good trails to get about. Not so good where we live now. I follow cycling on twitter and a couple of accounts that promote cycling in the Netherlands. Now that is cycling heaven! There are more bicycles than people there. You'll need to work on your Dutch language skills! There is one account I follow that promotes cycling in Carmel, Indiana highlighting the cycling infrastructure and use of cargo bikes.
RE: The Seinfeld thread (or the thread about nothing) - Twelvefret - 09-24-2021 Just got back from the trail. Yes, where I live now was a strategic decision. That’s easier if you only have to think for one. Tonight three 10 year olds coming over. I’m sure they will want grilled cheese and tomato soup. ? Part of the dream was an old refrigerator in the garage filled with a good variety of drinks and a freezer with ice cream. They know they don’t have to ask. Makes me smile how they make themselves at home. ❤️❤️ RE: The Seinfeld thread (or the thread about nothing) - Twelvefret - 09-24-2021 Who has a clothes line and uses it? RE: The Seinfeld thread (or the thread about nothing) - Twelvefret - 09-24-2021 One came with my new 63 year old abode. I promptly restrung…lol!! All this reminds me of being with my grandmother on wash day. Nothing compares to the fresh smell of sun dried pillow cases…

Dryers can wear clothing out. That's a good memory you have of your grandmother! Really, nothing better than grandmothers!
RE: The Seinfeld thread (or the thread about nothing) - ShadowsDad - 09-25-2021 I think what you call humid and what we call humid are two very different levels of humidity. For us it's starting to get really uncomfortable when the dew point is 60°F and at a DP of 70° we think we're about to die. But soon our weather will change and the air will be so dry that we'll be itchy all over and put moisturizer on our skin and look for ways to dump moisture into our indoor air. A few months of that and I look forward to having humidity back again. I'm never satisfied.
