RE: A new handle for an old razor. - Dave in KY - 07-02-2021 I doubt I can match the work I see from GAW9576 and Jayaruh but I got enough to make an attempt..... All in the 1st pic and 1 piece from the 2nd pic. I prefer the 1 from the 2nd pic but afraid I'll mess it up...... The one the head is touching would look nice, black and gold. I think the black would look best. Or possibly the one to the right of it depending on what that looks like on the side. Those blanks should be big enough for 2 handles that proper size each. What tools do you have to work with. There are certain order of operations that will make things easier depending on what tools you have. RE: A new handle for an old razor. - Dave in KY - 07-03-2021 In person I'm really leaning towards this one. It's 3 inches. The others are 5 inches so too small for 2 handles I think RE: A new handle for an old razor. - TobyC - 07-03-2021 (07-03-2021, 12:25 AM)Dave in KY Wrote: In person I'm really leaning towards this one. I would work that handle by hand, I don't see any need for heavy equipment. . It was just not my top choice if you were looking for opinions. As TobyC already said it's your taste that really matters on material selection for your razor. I look forward to seeing what you come up with. |
