Sunday lather catcher shave. Kampfe razor, Treet blade, geo f Trumper rose soap, rose witch hazel, rose lotion. The Trumper rose performed badly as always. I've been using it as bath soap. I tried lathering it as if to was hand and wipe on the face no good. I've tried every method of lathering I can find no luck. It also seems to irritate my face if left on for any period of time. So back to the shower it goes. Happy mother's day to my wife on her first this year and all others.

I had an exceptionally smooth shave with an Enders Speed Shaver and a Personna SS PTFE blade this evening. For lather I mixed a small amount of Cella with aloe cream in with the Dragon's Blood soap I've been testing. This made for a more stable lather than I had previously gotten with it. All in all an excellent shave which was both close and comfortable.

Simply wonderful!
This Tuxedo knotted little brush from Jayaruh has some backbone, a face lather today with the Irish Fern producing a very slick, cushioning lather, the brush holding enough for the shave.
I prefer the Ikon handle on the V2 General, it just seems to work for me and i think it looks and feels better than the original fluted handle.
3 passes for a very comfortable BBS finish.
A nice post shave routine to finish things off.
The blade performed very well on its 10th outing, i usually bank them after 10, however, i am going to give it another run out later in the week just to see if i can.

This was my first shave with Roger Quintero's Stoll Jr. Lather Catcher, and I was thoroughly impressed with the shave. I got a great smooth shave with no feedback and no stubble.

The C.O. Bigelow Shave Cream lathered well with The SlimGem Silvertip Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Stoll Jr. Lather Catcher with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
