The case is the same, the badge on yours looks a little bigger than mine.

I was wondering about what year it is from, I suspected it was a later version from the metal handle

The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #30 Silvertip Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Unmentionable Razor and an Unmentionable Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I did the best I could dating mine with Waite's Compendium.  It's 1911ish.  The lettering and design on the back tells the tale.  Post a pic and maybe we can help.

First shave with my newly acquired Ever-Ready Lather Catcher
My first shave with a lather catcher period! The second picture of back lettering for helping to identify what year-ish it is. 

I did half the shave with a Personna GEM carbon steel blade and the other half with a GEM stainless steel blade.
An excellent close shave throughout!
