It is one of a few soaps that I will replace. I noticed on my website tag bar that I have 581 tags for Tabac. That is a lot of tags. As for new and old formulations, I cannot tell. It is the same with Williams. I just lather up and shave with them. So every week I have a Tabac Tuesday and a Williams Wednesday. Get yourself some Tabac. You will love it. If you don't, I will gladly take it off your hands. That is just fabulous, and what a legacy item that will last pretty much forever. You need be applauded. ![]() Here is Happy Me one day in the future ……… RE: SOTD - SEptember 2025 - Rocketman - 09-24-2025 SEptember 2025 - Week 4 - Day 3 - and counting ![]() No Contour for me. So sticking with yesterday’ razor for another day. Hauled out the big guns shaving set up - the Tasmanian Barber! I use this for fun a couple of times a year, and I figured today would work just fine. I chose the Williams since as Jayaruh pointed out, it is Wednesday after all! But, I needed to put it in a low edged bowl before I soaked my little devil which worked just fine. Another lovely shave with the Push-Button and my little shave buddy. RE: SOTD - SEptember 2025 - Rocketman - 09-25-2025 SEptember - Thursday Sep 25 I used the Enders Speed Shaver with a ground down Enders blade as a holder for a Pella injector blade. Another make do solution that may not present the blade in the intended position, but it allows for getting in a shave with another oldie but goodie. I used a vintage horse hair and Stirling’s Scarn - a decent blend of scents. It was an ok shave with the Speed Shaver. RE: SOTD - SEptember 2025 - Jayaruh - 09-25-2025 Here is the blade holder I used. I cannot remember who made it, but it works great. https://jrshaving.blogspot.com/search?q=blade+carrier RE: SOTD - SEptember 2025 - GAW9576 - 09-25-2025 Great shave the other day with my Wester Bros. Anchor Brand razor and Ishtar which is an incredible scent. RE: SOTD - SEptember 2025 - Rocketman - 09-26-2025 (09-25-2025, 07:59 PM)Jayaruh Wrote: Here is the blade holder I used. I cannot remember who made it, but it works great. Thanks for posting pics of this adapter. I had heard chatter of an Enders adapter and may have posted with GAW#### once about it too I think. So this is a similar approach to using an original Enders blade but with the added rare earth magnets for extra holding power. I wonder why make it from brass rather than use an original steel blade? It is good to hear it works great for you! I think I will pick up some teeny rare earth magnets if I can find them and try them on the blade I ground the edge from. Perhaps they may not need be glued that way. And if it doesn’t work out I could try one from brass. Thank you Jayaruh - great pictures for it. The speed razor is a very nice to hold razor so it would be worth the effort! Yeah SEptember!
