Does anyone notice a difference between GEM, Treet, and PAL carbon blades?

For me, I only have experience with GEM and street carbon blades. But between those two, I would go with the GEM because it’s sharper and not as harsh when shaving. At least that’s my experience.

I get the opposite results. However, I am going to try a GEM carbon tomorrow.

*UPDATE*
The GEM carbon blade felt great. I used my Ever-Ready 1912 Made in England. My technique must be improving!! Tomorrow I'll try a more efficient shaver, for me anyway. I'll use my MM and see how it goes!!

Im lazy and don't like carbon blades(wiping off after rinsing0, although I do think the Gems are better.

I'm late to this party, but I figured I'd weigh-in anyway. I find the first couple of shaves with the GEM Stainless Steel PTFE-coated blades to be harsh feeling, but the remaining 10 or so shaves feel great. The Treet carbons are smooth right out of the gate, but I only get about 5 shaves from them -- and that's after treating them like royalty: rinsing, wiping dry, coating with mineral oil -- sometimes frog lube, keeping them in a dry place on a special purple pillow (okay, there's no pillow). No matter what I do with the Treets, the body of the blade (not the edge) always seems to get some patina (which is fine), and the blade's longevity won't go past 5 or so shaves for me (which I don't love...because I'm cheap....and lazy). So that's my two-cents.

I am not as anal as Flintstone about using carbon blades, but I do enjoy using them and giving them a bit of extra care. However, I bought a 100 pack of PTFE SS last month. I have been enjoying great shaves from them. I will still use my carbon blades, but I am happy that the SS blades are also worth using.

I do find the SS PTFE blades pretty smooth from the get-go. I am enjoying the carbon blades. I do notice a difference between GEM and Treet carbon blades. Tomorrow I will try a PAL blade.

I used the PAL carbon blades today. Smoother than I thought, not that I knew what to expect. I'm still trying to dial in the MWF, so my first pass wasn't as smooth as it could have been. My second pass was like butter. Now that I have used all three, GEM, Treet, and PAL, I really can't tell a difference. The Treets do seem to tarnish rather quickly.
