Arko Shave Cream - Bird Lives - 01-31-2021

So whose a fan of Arko?

I only used Arko Shave Stick for 5 or 6 years and didn't miss any variety.
Recently I tried the Arko Sensitive, tube cream. At first I was looking for the old Arko Iced Mint which was a great menthol. But it appears they don't make a menthol anymore} :>(

So finally I pick up this Bb cream... Nothing special, except it face lathers to a thick lubricating lather that really, I mean REALLY positions my whiskers so I get those BBS strokes. I did it! I'm getting really close shaves in record time... Even though I'm not in a hurry.. Lately it's like one pass with the cream and one Fuzzy patented witch hazel pass and I'm good to go!

I can't imagine anything replacing the Arko or Williams sticks or Cakes... But this cream is smoking!!!

I have not tried the cream but I have used the stick. To be honest Williams is all I need. Super slick and I can get a lather easily. When it comes to cream vs soap in my mind creams win due to them already having water in them. The more I shave and this is just my experience so feel free to disagree. I used to like thick lather but I realized that my razor only needs the slickness and not much cushion if I do my part. Thick lather slows my razor and I like a fast shave. Anyways I think I will try that cream. You just reminded me that I need to get some witch hazel. Thanks!

Arko is da bomb. Love me some of the original shave stick goodness. Also, I have some of the cooling balm aftershave. I like it as well.

I'm not real big on the creams, and they are nothing really special IMHO.

I only use Arlo occasionally. I'm just getting to were I can stand the scent. It does perform really well though and I tried some Sterling frost drops in it once. Wow was it frosty. I should give that another try.

bcshaves, I like how you think/shave, glad to make your acquientance.

Williams would be all I need or Arko... I have to admit I love both. Main factor for me between those lather bombs is availability. Right now where I'm living I see Arko everywhere and I have to order Williams Internationally};>)(
