SOTD June 2021 - Jayaruh - 05-31-2021

I will be starting off June with my Enders Speed Razor. It is sporting a new handle I made from walnut and oak. Being Tuesday, it is Tabac, of course.

The Tabac Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #222 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Custom Wood Handle Enders Speed Razor with an Enders Speed Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

A busy morning passed by quickly, a trip to the supermarket to get the "Mothership" some supplies to deliver on my visit today, i really enjoyed seeing her yesterday, it really gave me (and i hope Mam) a lift. Heart
I also picked up a nice bunch of flowers as i had asked yesterday if it was allowed.  Cool
I am trying to make the most of this week and visit as often as i can and managed to book 3 appointments last week, the spots do go quickly, especially on the weekend when i could normally get there.
So, to the shave,
Chalk and cheese from yesterday, the Sabre L1 although mild, i find efficient enough for me, it also leaves me feeling really comfortable, unlike yesterday with the Blackland Unmentionable that can be thrown - defoliating like "Agent Orange"! - No, not the man from Delmonte, it does not require the softest of touches.
The Boars continue to improve so i will keep running them.
2 passes and a touch up on the whirlpools for a wonderfully comfortable BBS finish, Finishing with the BartsBalm and a splash of Bowling Green, very nice.

Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 938

Great shave with the Penn Adjustable today. I took a Original blade and ground off a few millimetres of the edge so it could be used to hold the Injector blade. Need to watch that it doesn't twist as it is just a pin that holds it. I had no issues with the 1st shave but will be mindful of it's precarious perch. Typical nice smooth injector shave with plenty of blade feel using it wide open. Great Williams lather and ready for the day. Have a good one Everyone !

For reasons unknown, I have been taking a hiatus from my SE razors lately. But... today's Williams Wednesday shave provided a perfect chance to jump back into the saddle.
