Schick G - joelkerr - 08-22-2021 For some reason, I just can't get the hang of this razor. I've used it maybe half a dozen times, and even though the shave is super close, I get really bad irritation. I'm very conscious of pressure, so I've concluded that I still haven't found the right angle. I've watched a bunch of videos on this razor and I've tried really hard, but I'm now hesitant to use it again because I don't want to deal with an irritated face that takes 3 or 4 days to heal. I'm going to keep it, just because it's a really cool razor, and maybe I'll eventually pick it up again and try and get the angle right. But for now, it's going into storage. RE: Schick G - Whiterook - 08-22-2021 Do you lay the top of the razor flat against you skin? The shaving angle is built into the design of the head. No matter how careful I am, I still get irritation on my neck, which is the most sensitive spot for me. But at the same time, I get the closest shaves from this razor, nothing else comes close. I barely have a shadow of stubble two days after shaving. It’s incredible. My beard is very coarse, and this razor easily mows down a 5 day growth. It’s also very manoeuvrable, it’s great for the area under the nose. If it weren’t for the guaranteed irritation, this might have been the perfect razor. I see Gs for pretty reasonable prices frequently. RE: Schick G - joelkerr - 10-28-2021 (10-28-2021, 01:00 AM)GAW9576 Wrote:(10-27-2021, 09:50 PM)joelkerr Wrote: I decided to try the Schick again.
