Wedge Razors - Jayaruh - 09-19-2023 I am a big fan of wedge razors. I like stropping the blades, and I always get a great shave with each. The first wedge razor I ever got was my J.A. Henckels Rapide (acquired January 2018). Tom White sharpened the wedge blade that came with it, and I have used it for years. My next wedge razor is the C.V. Heljestrand (acquired in March 2018). Tom sharpened my Heljestrand wedge, too. Then there is my 1902 Kampfe Brothers/Star Lather Catcher (acquired May 2019). It came with two Star wedges.  I have other lather catchers that will also use a wedge blade: Gem Junior 1905 (April 2017), Superior (May 2918), Gem Jr. Bar (October 2018), Ever-Ready (April 2019). I rotate through these on what I call Lather Catcher Sundays. Gem Junior 1905 (April 2017)  Superior (May 2018)  Gem Jr. Bar (October 2018) Ever-Ready (April 2019)  Finally, I acquired another J.A. Henckels that came with six blades.  I had the blades sharpened and sold the Henckels and two blades to Mickey in Layfaette, LA. He is happy and I am happy. I am set for life with wedge blades and some nice razors, too.
