I got a Star Bar razor recently . I've wanted one for quite a while. So when I saw this one pop up with a really low starting bid I figured I'd throw a slightly higher bid on and see what happened. No one else bid and I got it cheap. I did quite a bit of scrubbing and sanitizing on this one. It looks like it's been a bit neglected. I wonder where and for how long it sat unused.

Very Pretty !! And you did a great job cleaning it up. Personally I like a razor with some patina.

Thank you. I really like patina on a lot of razors. It shows history and use. In fact much of my collection is well used and rich with patina. I may end up sending this one out for a professional cleaning and re-plating though. Not sure yet.

It's good stuff. Nice mild citrusy scent (mostly orange to me). It's not very expensive either. https://www.getluckytiger.com/products/after-shave-face-tonic-8-oz. I've seen it cheaper elsewhere but the 2 reviews at the bottom of this link are definitely worth a read.
