I've been waiting for this Super Six to arrive for a while, now it's turned up I'm very pleased with it. I'll take it for a spin tomorrow.

Thanks, sorry to have outbid you. I often wonder if I'm bidding against guys I know from the forum.
This completes my little set; Star Cru Steel / Stoll Chrome Steel Star Super Six / Improved Stoll I might have to do some research and comparisons some time.

Mine is 4-14-14 Interesting, yes the patent date on mine is 7-20-15 . The cap clip is different and the base plate and comb on mine is more reminiscent of earlier lather catchers. Your base is more like the Cru- Steel with same patent date and looks the same as the Improved Stoll, which I think has the same date too. I'll get them all out and take some pics later.

It took a while to get here but all present and correct. Time to clean it up and see how a blade loads
