Whats in your glass tonight
#31

There are two things in this world that I'm allergic to, poison ivy and Rebel Yell whisky.

Rebel Yell will break me out with bumps all over and makes my lips get hot and fat.

I haven't had alcohol in more than twenty years so it's no biggie, but as a Southern boy with Confederate blood runnin' through my veins that was a real bummer! Southern Comfort was too sweet, so Jim Beam to the rescue,... until I switched to Ronrico and Cruzan.

Try this.

Boar brushes, brass razors, and hard pucks ARE traditional wet shaving. Everything else is modern day fluff for the girly men.

Well I'm hitting the Wild Turkey 101 tonight. I had Sazarac rye last night and it was tasty!

Hey, Twelvefret...that's a pretty cool looking beer!

Albert. Able. Gordo. Miss Baker. Bonny. Goliath. Between 1948 and 1961 these primate pioneers and others bravely went where no man had ever gone before, paving the way for manned U.S. spaceflight. This hoppy little monkey of a beer is a tribute to those Simian heroes of yesteryear. It has a citrusy, floral hop aroma, a strong malt body, and a crisp finish.

At their restaurant, on tap, they have the same with hot pepper added. Very nice with spicy entrees. Huntsville is my adopted home now. Greg knew me back when...LOL!!

Heres to you pops, your nice Aberlour 10yr old.

Just finished Dads Aberlour 10yr old, sadly now discontinued. I have kept the Cork for the next bottle, it will have to be a 12yr old Cry.

Played some cards with friends tonight and had a couple of drams of The Dalmore. Not too shabby.
