Tabac Tuesday's Cold Water Shave
Cold Water Rinse
Tabac Shave Soap
Jayaruh #439 Synthetic
PAA Starling Open Comb
Personna GEM SS PTFE
CWR
Tabac After Shave
The Tabac Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #439 Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the PAA Starling Open Comb razor and a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
I like my Starling too. Mine is the second version, yours looks to me like the first version. I find that the open comb gives a much less agressive shave than the sold bar plate.

Williams Wednesday's Cold Water Shave
Cold Water Rinse
Williams Mug Shaving Soap
Jayaruh #439 Synthetic
PAA Starling Safety Bar
Personna GEM SS PTFE
CWR
Florida Water
I don't remember this as the case, but Whiterook suggested that the solid bar plate was more aggressive. After yesterday's shave, I was all in to give it another go. I found the open comb to be rather mild.

The safety bar maybe was a little bit more aggressive, and I got a closer shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I used it along with some TOBS Sandlewood shaving cream and finished off with Aquavelva. Had a pretty good shave after some trepidation, I'm used to using a Schick Injector. I've gotten to be pretty fast with that razor. I didn't really want to take off part of my face, so I had to force myself to slow down and pay attention to what I was doing. All in all, not too bad. I'll just have to get used to it. Sorry for no pics, but, eh.
