I saw yours which made me use this this morning. I thought yours looked more gold but wasn't sure if it was just the picture. This was filthy when I got it a couple of weeks ago but cleaned up very easily with soap, water and light toothbrushing. Great old razors

It's just a total lack of plating  or so it appears to me.  I think there is a little left on the bottom 9f the head.

The A1 and A2 are my favorite of the AutoStrops. Beautiful razor, Grassy.
