The Seinfeld thread (or the thread about nothing)
"the vast majority of Krispy Kreme's revenues come from doughnuts, a majority of Dunkin's revenues come from beverages"

"The chain has now leaned away from their food and focused on their beverages — hence the name change from Dunkin' Donuts to simply Dunkin'."

10 Reasons Why Krispy Kreme Will Always Be Better Than Dunkin’ Donuts

.
Boar brushes, brass razors, and hard pucks ARE traditional wet shaving. Everything else is modern day fluff for the girly men.

Sounds like you could be head of Krispy Kreme's marketing division!  Big Grin Yep, no comparison on the texture of their donuts, though I'm also a big fan of Krispy Kreme's cake and sour cream donuts!

I bought my first rice cooker. I’ve always enjoyed bowl meals like salad or burrito bowls. Saturday evening I had the rice and fired it together with sweet onion and shrimp .

Your link leads to nothing about donuts but rather a comparison of candy bars and protein bars. I've always prefer Dunkin' donuts over Krispy Kreme. I like some substance to mine and do prefer the caked as well as their powdered cream filled when the cream is done properly.

Sounds delicious Twelvefret! You'll get many healthy meals with that rice cooker.

We eat a lot of rice in our house; my wife is Korean. Three one-year back to back tours in Korea, the food is most excellent!

PS...rainy day here in the ATL metro area. While eating lunch, enjoying watching three to four ruby-throated hummingbirds battle it out at the feeder. The local male hummingbirds departed about three weeks ago for Central America. The females and immature birds will leave over the next two weeks. I will miss their antics and personality until they come back next April.

I need to rinse the rice better to prevent it being sticky, but it tastes very good.

To a Korean, the rice is the main dish of a meal and everything else is a side dish.

She uses an Instant Pot now for making rice and makes enough to put in the freezer. When she finishes rinsing the rice, she has a 5 gallon bucket full of water that she saves to put on her plants outside. She spends so much time at the sink adding water and then turning the rice with her hand, then pouring the dirty water in the bucket. I believe she rinses until the water is nearly clear. She also adds protein items; like dried garbanzo beans, lentils, kidney beans and barley. Its a real production!  Big Grin
