Interesting, yes the patent date on mine is 7-20-15 . The cap clip is different and the base plate and comb on mine is more reminiscent of earlier lather catchers. Your base is more like the Cru- Steel with same patent date and looks the same as the Improved Stoll, which I think has the same date too.
I'll get them all out and take some pics later.
