Good to hear from you, sir!! Yep, I'm an old clock/watch and radio fan. GAW9576 sure has nice looking time peices. As crafty and skilled as he is, he probably makes them from scraps left over from other projects.
Yes only whisker were harmed in my shave.
I'm just dipping my toe into the watch repair waters. It takes a very steady hand, a very clean dust free setting and lots of very precise tools. I would like to get some basic maintenance tools. I did fabricate to Tiny screwdrivers to tighten a loose dial face on one of my watches. That's watch still needs some other work done that I don't have tools for though. Also with the help of a friend I have switched out dials and hands on 2 other watches. 1 of those needs a whole new movement though that is unrelated to the work we did. It had issues with the movement when I got it and I thought those had been ironed out.
