Jim, glad you did get out of there with an all clear.
I like the BBQ stop...good call!!
I had a mole removed from on top of my head a few years ago. They had to shave that part of my head, and the hole was big enough, that the stitches looked like the threads on a football. Lol!! Hurt for like 2 years, but all is cool now...
I shaved my head about 12 years ago when my grandson got leukemia and lost his hair due to chemo. My dermatologist found a spot about the size of a dime just beyond what I could see in the mirror. He sent me to a general surgeon who removed it with margins. I ended up with a scar that is about three inches long. My hair covers it now, but if it were not for my grandson getting leukemia and me shaving my head, I would not known of it. It was melanoma, so, it all worked out.
I ended up with a long purple scar, but totally covered by my hair...BUT! My barber in Seattle, when he first saw it said, "What the Hell happened here?! Man...you better hope you never lose you hair...Women will be.covering their children's face saying, 'Dont look at the Man honey, it will give you nightmares"
Lmao!! Can you believe that!! My barber was a retired Army Barber and hard as nails and was a funny cat...Guys would hang out at his shop just to hear him tell stories. And no women aloud! Old style Man's barber complete with girly calender, lol! But what a thing to say...ha,ha!!
