I then got busy and fashioned a handle from some walnut I had on hand. Here it is dry fitted to the head.

I carved some grips on the sides. Then I put a coat of polycrylic on the handle. This is before the polycrylic.

After two coats of polycrylic: dry fitting.

I attached the handle to the head with epoxy.

Ah there she is. Beautiful work my friend. That was the inspiration for the handle I made for Flintstone.
