HERO brand razor problem

(05-04-2021, 10:06 PM)Lord NSIC Wrote: I recently picked a Hero and had the same issue, but was able to remedy it.  I see you posted nearly a year ago, were you able to adjust it?  The razors are pretty robust, I was able to use a jewelers smooth jawed pliers to squeeze the side clips slightly down to grip the blade better from the sides, and for the back clip, I pushed the clip as far up as possible, then used a long reach jewelers pliers to hold the clip from underneath, just in front of the rivet, and then used a small flat bladed screw driver placed (coming in from the top) behind the clip and was able to gently finesse it forward to give it just enough forward to place positive pressure against the blade spine to hold it in place while shaving. The adjusted side clips combined with he adjusted back clip works well now. I used the pliers in front of the rivet to keep the rivet connection tight versus just prying the clip from the back which would have weakened it.  I can post photos if needed. Good luck
