Razor: Clark Improved King
Blade: Gem SS (2)
Brush: Rubberset 400/Oumo Boar
Soap: Williams Shave Stick
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: CFG Ghost Town Barber
Fragrance: Dragonsbeard EDP
Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1003
Forget who it was that told me the Improved King is more aggressive and the best shave but they are right on BOTH counts. The shave with this vintage just easily matched the best shaves I've had and can stand toe to toe with the Blackbird Titanium at a fraction of the cost to me. The bigger gap is noticeable and more blade feel for sure but a smooth and glorious shave was had. This vintage is just on another level compared to what's in the vintage Williams bowl soap I have. Not sure what's up with that but I love this stick.
Heading on a acquisition drive today to hopefully pick up this gem of a Star dated about 1898/99.
