Wanted to have my first Lather Catcher Sunday Shave. I've hatched a new plan where I'm going to worry less about the outcome of the shave and more on minimizing irritation which will hopefully allow for more frequent shaving. Perhaps watching Fuzzy's videos is sinking in!
Two passes (WTG, XTG), I bailed on the LC on the goatee area for an unmentionable. It was a much different shave than my first SE shave with the Gem Jr., a bit more tugging. I know one big difference is no top cap on the LC vs. the Gem to aid in getting the angle correct. It will take some time. Overall, the goal of minimal irritation and no bleeding was met.
Included a shot of the Stoll Chrome Steel in the case. The set includes the stropping attachment that jams into the bottom of the handle and four blades. This was found in the wild at a local antique store and is one of the main reasons I'm here posting today, so for that I'm grateful!
PS...wasn't sure were exactly to post this, SOTD vs. the two different posts in The Clan of the Catchers Forum. Set me straight and I'll get it right the next time! Next stop...Micromatic Monday!
Such a cool looking razor to find in the wild, Congrats !
