Started the day with a bowl of John Bull Royal English. Paired that with a cup of Yorkshire Red. All that was missing were cars driving on the wrong side of the road...

Another new tobacco today, Petersons 3P's plug.

The packaging is a bit over the top, a massive tin with a small solid chunk of serious looking tobacco.

I cut a few flakes and  tried a bowl rubbed out earlier in straight Falcon with a Rustic Billiatd.
I had no issues lighting it or keeping it lit and it burned evenly and slowly.
Its not too strong, however, I am finding it a bit spicy/peppery.
2nd bowl I tried cubed in a Falcon international fitted with a smooth Algiers bantam, I am on with it now, still that spiciness very much to the fore.
I think in prefer the Mac Baren NF.

1st Bowl today was 1/2 n 1/2 3Ps with G&H Exlusiv Plum & Rum in a bent Falcon with a Rustic Dublin. It worked really well and reduced the spiciness.
I am now on with a bowl of flaked 3P's well rubbed out and loosely packed in a Falcon bent international with a smooth Dover bowl (filtered).
Slow sipping and gentle tamping seems to be the key. I am also starting to get more fruit flavours with a nice Nic hit. It's still quite a mellow smoke.

Still on with the Petersons 3P's, it is becoming a bit boring, it does not seem to change from the spicy flavour, it is better mixed with the Plum Rum for me.
I have another tin of it which will probably be opened a lot later on in this piping journey.
Today I am sticking with the filtered internationals using the smooth Algiers Bantam and Dover bowls.
