Therefore I couldn't leave a vote.
Sorry about that riverrun! I went back to see if I could edit the poll, but couldn't figure it out. If I do a poll again in the future, I'll allow the option to vote for more than one!

Yep, I only do cold water shaving. I started out doing a cold water rinse at the end of the shave, but I remembered when I was in Vietnam, we did not have hot water, so all my shaves were cold water. I decided to give it a try again, and haven't looked back, until today. I went back in my shaving logs on my shaving website, and it was August 8, 2014 when I started cold water shaving. On November 1, 2014, I created this graphic for cold water shaves.

I made this one back when I first joined TOST.

And now, I use this one.

I am happy to have nudged/persuaded a number of wet shavers to join me. I call it the Fellowship of Cold Water Shavers.
I did notice your cold water shave graphic on your SOTD posts, it's nice to see the progression! I've watched a few of your videos on YouTube and noticed the cold water usage. This was in the back of my mind when I decided to set up the poll. Wanted to hear everybody's opinion.
I did my first cold water shave today. After yesterday's shave, I need to limit any further irritation. I used Proraso red cream and did an easy pass and a half shave with my unmentionable razor that I stared DE shaving with. Went well and no further irritation. Not the best shave because I wasn't trying to be close, but it accomplished the mission!

Hot shave and hot coffee.
Boar brushes, brass razors, and hard pucks ARE traditional wet shaving. Everything else is modern day fluff for the girly men.

GAW9576, now I'm confused. Not only am I unsure if I should be shaving with cold water or hot water, but now I've got to consider that TobyC is shaving with hot coffee!
I guess the caffeine is good for the skin? Maybe we need to ask Wchnu if the instant packs of Cafe Bustelo would be even better?

I have seen caffeinated soap for sale before. Must be something to it.

And also there is Alpecin Caffeine Shampoo. Definitely on to something!

That's it tomorrow morning I'm shaving with espresso!
