WOW! I missed that the gent died. That's the pits!

I hate funerals! When I croak I don't want one; don't want to put anyone through that. Just box me up and have me cremated ASAP (before I start stinking). The wife can throw a party and they can celebrate my life and get drunk if they wish. No tears, just happiness.

I feel it. A friend of mine had a massive heart attack Wednesday and passed. He was 2 month younger than me 59. He always took good care of himself. Never drank or smoked exercised  regularly.  This really depressed me. You never know when you will be called. Make the best of what time we have here. Even in these very crazy times especially.

I had my heart attack 3 years ago (June 4). Friends were quite surprised and so was I. Mine was extremely mild. We've been fed BS about diet. My HA and surgery was the catalyst for my research into diet. DO NOT listen or believe anything from the CDC or the FDA re: diet. It's all politically motivated and absolute lies. Today I do everything "wrong" according to them and my LDL/HDL both hover in the low 70s. I eat animal fats, butter, chicken skin, full fat cheese, sausage, and on and on it goes. Eating fats drives the LDL down and the HDL up. No highly refined oils! They're poison. Eating carbs causes blockages due to cracking of the artery and vein walls. The LDL is there to fix the cracks and that build up is what causes the heart attacks. Sp when the food pyramid says x amount of grain and fruit and such... pure BS. Not if one wants to live, esp' if there is a history of heart disease in the family.

I'll have been in ketosis for 2 years the end of June and doing great. All of my Drs tell me to keep doing what I'm doing. I miss everything I can't have. Carbs are more addictive than opiates, at least as far as rats go. To this day I miss carbs! I didn't get to be a great baker by not liking bread or pizza. Like someone quitting opiates I did it cold turkey for 1.5 years. Now I allow myself under 30 grams per day. Our bodies make carbs to feed the brain whether we eat them or not, so why not eat them, get the taste, but keep it under control? I can make a really good low carb pizza in minutes and eat 1/2 for 15 grams of carbs. That means I can have other veg' and still stay under my carb load. (All vegetables are carbs, some much worse than others.it

edit: correction, 3 years in ketosis the end of June

So news break........ It looks like they are paying me to sit and home and answer the phone at night. I only go somewhere if there is a issue. Yay $5 a gallon gas.

Drives me nuts. That means that there is no real supervision going on, The average security guard will no act right with out supervison. Ask me how I know,,.........

Are you responsible for them even though you're home? If so, yes, that would be the pits.

I don't know how you do it but in the mill I worked in security had these slung things they carried around and as they made rounds they'd use keys in tiny lockboxes to record their passage on their rounds.

Yup. That was known as the watchman. Those systems are cell based now. I finally got things straight. Day shift is mostly reactive supervision. They think nothing can be done about issues with guards. I think you have to supervise most people.  So I rang a higher bell and got it sorted. Back on the road tonight.
