First shave with my newly acquired Ever-Ready Lather Catcher
My first shave with a lather catcher period! The second picture of back lettering for helping to identify what year-ish it is.

I did half the shave with a Personna GEM carbon steel blade and the other half with a GEM stainless steel blade.
An excellent close shave throughout!

SOAP: RAZOROCK Don Marco
BRUSH: Vintage OPAL 12 with a synthetic knot
AFTERSHAVE: Dickenson Witch Hazel & RAZOROCK Don Marco

I'm going with 1912 - 1914  based upon this.

Head design was 1911, according to Wait.

Thank you, sir. I figured it had to be a lather catcher model in the very early teens at the latest.

It's a nice set and they are mild shavers. I am always happy when mine comes up in the rotation.

Saturday's Cold Water Birthday Shave

Cold Water Rinse
Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap
Jayaruh #30 Silvertip Badger
Unmentionable Razor
Unmentionable Blade
CWR
Aqua Velva Musk AS

I would like to wish twhite a Happy Birthday. His is easy for me to remember.

The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #30 Silvertip Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with an Unmentionable Razor and an Unmentionable Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

A favorite of mine. I call it a 1910ish. They made them for a few years that basically look the same to me. Great razors.
Happy shaves to ya!
