SEptember
Pre - Shower
Brush - Silver Birch Brushes - Cocobolo 26mm Silvertip
Soap - Signature Soap Vectis
Razor - Colonial General V2
Blade - Feather PB (6)
Post - Cold water Rinse, TC's infused Witch Hazel
Balm - BartsBalm Tester G
A/S - Pinaud Brandy Spice
That was a nice shave, the normal slick lather from the Signature soap, bowl mixed and applied with the wall of soft badger - wonderful.
Now then, i never thought i would say this, however, lately i have to say the General V2 is giving me smoother shaves than the Vector, there i have said it.
Next month it could be back to the Vector.
Anyway, Stay safe and enjoy your day All

Thursday's Shave
Cold Water Rinse
Proraso White Shaving Cream
SlimGem Silvertip Badger
GEM Damaskeene
Personna GEM SS PTFE
CWR
Pinaud Citrus Musk EDC
The Proraso White Shaving Cream lathered well with SlimGem Silvertip Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the GEM Damaskeene with a Personna GEM SS PTFE gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Citrus Musk EDC. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

That razor looks fantastic. I've never seen a DEB for sale. And I believe that's the first picture I've seen with the cap in the handle position.

Thanks! I think I have seen one other for sale, but they do appear to be less commonly found than the H1. I tried shaving using the cover as a handle, but it was a bit wobbly so I wound up just using it without that. It shaves pretty much like any other Schick, just a but awkward in some places for me. I suspect it might be good for shaving the head. It's nice and small so might be good for traveling if space were limited.

SEptember
Pre - Shower, Cold water face rinse
Brush - Zenith 506 Copper 28mm
Soap - Signature Soap Valentia
Razor - Valet VC1 Silver Tone
Blade - Despined GEM PTFE S/S (5)
Post - Cold water Rinse, TC's infused Witch Hazel
Balm - BartsBalm Tester H
A/S - Pinaud Gents Gin
A lovely Friday shave with the Silver Tone VC1, Mild on the skin but efficient on the stubble, This one is in "as new condition", although, they do seem to be harder to come by lately on our shores, which is a shame as they are brilliant with the easily modified GEM.
3 full passes accompanied again by the fantastic Signature soap, i am really enjoying these soaps this month.
Stay safe and enjoy your day All

Called automatic, but more of a bolt action.
Boar brushes, brass razors, and hard pucks ARE traditional wet shaving. Everything else is modern day fluff for the girly men.
