My wife has told me we'll be going to Ikea sometime in the next two weeks. The best part of that is Atlanta Barber & Beauty Supply is a short drive away and I'm thinking to try and stop in and pick up one or two after shaves. Their prices are super reasonable. They carry a large selection of Clubman Pinaud/Jeris, Coachman, Lustray, Barber by Marmara, Lucky Tiger and Master After Shaves.

I love the three classic after shaves that I already have, but wanted to hear any recommendations you might have. I've seen a number of folks use the Lustray Spice and am considering that. Clubman Citrus Musk is also on my mind, but not sure if there is enough difference between that and the modern Aqua Velva musk that I have. Maybe a bay rum. And, all I know about The Veg is that "the veg picks you, you don't pick the veg." Can someone explain what's up with the veg?

The last/only time I went was for the Osage Rub and a small bottle of barbicide. They had the small size of the Lime Sec on clearance. Unfortunately, there is not much other than the after shaves that was interesting to me.

Got a gallon Barbacide at our local Sally's myself years ago but I need to try Osage Rub some time...................ducking and running before the flaming starts. Not sure how I have not tried it in all these years.....

No I like cooling burns and even use a WS powder (Synthetic Cooling Agent) to add to soaps sometimes. I'll get around to it soon, you've convinced me.

I really like the the Veg. Apparently there is something with body chemistry that causes it to reek of something akin to cat urine or the like on some people. I was lucky enough that the first bottle I grabbed in the store was leaking a bit. That meant that when I picked it up it got on my hands. So I got an unintentional free sample and knew before I paid for it that it smelled quite pleasant on me. I bought a non leaking bottle though and gave the leeky one to the cashier to take care of.
I want to find some nice glass bottles to decant stuff into now. I wish I knew the term for the little insert in bottles that helps pore out a small amount. I want shorter more squat bottles not tall and thin too. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I think they call the insert in the bottle a reducer.

So, the veg picks you based on science and there is no way of knowing. Cool! Cool
