Also just called the E2 that opens, but yours is the first variety, but most even collectors don't know about the 2 variations of the lather rinse openings, of which you have the first...therefore: E2-2. The only E type before yours was the E1.

Now that a pretty verbose response to your picture of such a beautiful razor. She's a heart breaker, };^))

Supply SE Saturday's Cold Water Shave

Cold Water Rinse
Proraso Red
Jayaruh #2 Badger
Supply SE Injector
Supply Black Label Blade

The Proraso Red Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #2 Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Supply SE Injector Razor and the Supply Black Label Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Mennen Skin Bracer. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

All the E's are great..but here are the differences so you can tell which yours is.
E1 flat spring, opens.
E2-2: round spring, opens, lather rinse opening is 2 horizontal holes with bar between.
E2-3: round spring, opens, lather rinse opening bar has been removed making it one long horizontal hole
E2-4: first fixed spring. End of spring tab looks like E2 that opens but has a tab added on left side so it doesn't open.
E3-5: 2nd fixed spring type...spring tab has pin in the center of tab to keep it from opening.
E3-6: same as E3-5 except guard bar has horizontal lines, stirations.

I own 2 E2's myself and until now I never thought to check to see what variations I might have.
So after looking closely, I have one E2-2 and the other is an E2-3. A minor difference but it's interesting wondering why they made these changes. Thanks
