That's a big stash, Dave in KY!
I've endured many wifely eye rolls !!  Cool

Told the wife about these and said "I think there's one that's nicer than these" and she said "Well get it!".

I only meant to get one in the first place!
Boar brushes, brass razors, and hard pucks ARE traditional wet shaving. Everything else is modern day fluff for the girly men.

I don't have a razor "collection". I run an orphanage for poor neglected vintage artifacts that all happen to be razors that I like and use.

And you have to use them all so that you can't be accused of playing favorites or any of them feel neglected

Absolutely. Otherwise child protective services will take them all away and melt them down. There is a special division dedicated to that. Not many people know about it.

I'm coming to the end of a couple of days of scouring the "E" sites and making some purchases. Planning to "sober" up tomorrow!  Big Grin

Not sure if anyone is looking for a Green Baton Handle, but there's one on The Bay now. It's a nickel-plated Star. Some out of focus pictures, but has a decent vibe about it. Starting bid is $12.99 with 4 days to go.

If a post like this is frowned upon, please let me know, as I've no intention on spoiling someone's plan! Just wanting to lend a hand.

With apologies, my friend! You shouldn't have liked my post! I thought you had a green one, but not a Star.

I've still not got a handle on how the bidding works, lost out on my only try for a Liberty single edge yesterday. It was a super nice specimen in a case. It reminded me of the Clark Silver King razors you shaved with not long ago, maybe the same patent/design. Maybe you got that one? And if so, sorry if I drove the price up. I set a max bid of $19.18, which was the year (1918) listed for this type of razor previously sold. Somebody beat me by $.50, so they had a larger maximum bid.

All's fair in Love, War and Ebay as far as I'm concerned. I was bidding cheap on that since no one else did but was out at $11. I wish you had gotten it !

I wasn't going to bid on it but now I guess I will have to. Big Grin  just kidding. I'm saving what funds I have in the hopes of finding a Schick type A. So seriously if you are out bid on any razors it wasn't me. Unless it was a Schick type A but even then it wasn't likely me.  I usually go for buy it now anyway.

Old Sarge I don't remember if there are any rules about it here but as a general rule most forums don't allow posting links to anything that is up for auction. As far as I understand some do allow posting stuff that is buy it now. Mentioning you saw something is usually no problem.
