AutoStrop A1

I am planning to use my AutoStrop A1 starting tomorrow, Monday, for the week. I think it is my favorite AutoStrop. I have a bunch of them though. I am also using Tom's 3D Printed Brush, too.

I did it. Here is Menthol Monday's shave with the AutoStrop A1. I am nearing the end of my TSD Cool Lime Shave Stick.

Osage Rub

The TSD Cool Lime Shave Stick face-lathered well with Tom's 3D Printed Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the AutoStrop A1 with a Gem Blue Star SE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I might just have to offer this favored status to my 
A1 for a sizable batch of forth coming shaves!

Well a cold snap has been running thru these parts like most. Showing 27 degrees this morning and heading to the 50's but a warming trend is starting again. I got in a sought after A Style Autostrop. These were before they became Valet Autostrops and instead of the lever mechanism to lock the blade, there is a push button. I had been wanting one since learning of their difference and finally got this cased example for the princely sum of $12. I must say the shave was OUTSTANDING with the despined Gem SS Coated blade. I have to agree with Fuzzy Wchnu that it's my favorite Autostrop. Now I need a A2..........It shaved so much smoother and closer than my "C" Models and I'm stoked to have 1 now. The 1508.5 continues and it will be close as to whether it is finished this month or edging into May. I need to consider which the next victim of 2021 will be to 1508.5. Long day today and tomorrow off to run my outlaw father (FIL) to the VA in Lexington. Have a great day Y'all !!

Wchnu Fuzzy, just shared your video again with someone I gifted an Autostrop too so he could see what to do for the blade modification. You should redo one of those and plug tost3 instead of the old site, when you get time and then kill the old video. Just a thought....

Wchnu Fuzzy, just shared your video again with someone I gifted an Autostrop too so he could see what to do for the blade modification. You should redo one of those and plug tost3 instead of the old site, when you get time and then kill the old video. Just a thought....

There is a plan in the works for a tost3 channel. That is the kind of thing that would go there. In the mean time I will make another video with the A soon and show the process again. Thanks for the idea!
