So I just picked up a Penn safety razor on a hunch. Well my theory was correct they can in fact securely hold injector blades. I haven't tried a shave yet. The razor can hold the blade with both a more aggressive exposure like in the picture or a much more mild exposure. You just slide the injector blade in and tighten the handle and the handle screw locks it in just like the original blades.

From what I saw kinda hold the blade hanging half or so out one side and then you can find where you want the edge slid it through then squeeze the edges of the head both sides to hold it in place then tighten the handle and you're shaving
