So I just picked up a Penn safety razor on a hunch. Well my theory was correct they can in fact securely hold injector blades. I haven't tried a shave yet. The razor can hold the blade with both a more aggressive exposure like in the picture or a much more mild exposure. You just slide the injector blade in and tighten the handle and the handle screw locks it in just like the original blades.

This is the Vintage Razor Lot I won for a ridiculous low buy it now. Gonna be fun sorting out and cleaning everything ! Just a few Single Edge Razors........
