Just pulled the trigger on this Kamphe Bros Star HR-9A, which came out in 1900.  Waits refers to it as the "Improved Model".

Saw these 2 for sale and the seller wasn't willing to split them up. Put in my watch and he eventually sent a reduced offer so I bought and will sell off the Gold duplicate since I already have one. Happy to land another NOS but in my preferred Nickel.
