So I have noticed a big difference between shaving with my Star razor than shaving with my Gem razor.  When I examine them, I noticed that the Gem's blade guard is tilted up more than on the Star.  Is this common?  And my Damaskeene and Squat Head look like the Gem.  I only have the 1 Star so no other comparsons.  Please take a look at my lousy picture and tell me what you think please.  Oh, the Star is on the right and the Gem on the left.

I have never found any difference. Maybe the Star was dropped. I have found different feeling razors of the same style. They all shave great!
