Finally got a Schick type C1. Three of them in fact but one is in need of repair.

I tried the schick type n for the first time. Supposedly it came out of the estate of a schick engineer somewhere in the northeast us I believe. The seller couldn't produce any proof but the price was right and the razor was brand new. I wanted something special for Thanksgiving. I used a new chick blade, wow signal soap and after shave. I've heard the n called mild. I would say it's mild compared to like a type g but not as mild as one of the lady schick injectors. Wasn't quite blood free. Had a couple tiny blood spots that quickly sealed themselves and no irritation. It was a damn fine shave but I believe I could get bbs or close to it.

Pre: Shower
Brush: Vintage Butterscotch Culmak Plus 1950
Soap: Vintage Cussons 1950's
Razor: Schick B1 Repeating Razor 1927-32
Blade: Personna Injector (10)
Post shave: Cold water Rinse, TC's Infused Witch Hazel
Balm: Barts Balm Lime Balm & Lotion
Aftershave: Mäurer & Wirtz 4711 EDC

I enjoyed this weeks vintage shave so much i decided to repeat it, well it is a repeater.
2 Passes for a DFS result, during the shave the blade had gone off so did not try any buffing, i did not want to chance a nick.
A nice post shave with the Barts Lime and 4711, for me a very nice combination.
Good news yesterday as the mothership was released from hospital beating the Covid, she is back in her own home with a more robust care package in place. She seems well, even though she is still sore from the fractured ribs.
What a fighter.[Image: Bravo.gif]

Also a bit better news on my sister who has also got through this horrible virus, she also has a fractured rib and the docs have put it down to the coughing fits, she said she feels well although getting tired/breathless easily.
All in all good news.
Stay safe and enjoy your day All

Thank you very much, I always enjoy shaving with it.
If i had to, I believe i could survive with 2 vintage razors, This B1 and a beautiful boxed MicroMatic i have.
Both wonderful shavers. However, thats not what we do on TOST, we need a lot more than that. Wink .
