Two passes with the Gem Junior is hard to beat.

Perfection!  Thumbsup
Thanks, maybe not perfection but it's hard to beat the classics.

Cold Water Shave w/ Hot Water Lather
Pre: Neutrogena Soap Face Wash, Noxzema Cream as Pre Shave
Razor: 1927-28 Unmentionable
Blade: Unmentionable (3rd Use)
Brush: Yaqi Green Obsidian Two Band Badger.
Lather: Mike’s Natural Soap (Orange, Cedarwood & Black Pepper), Face Lathered
Post: Osma Alum Block, T.N. Dickinson’s Witch Hazel, Clubman Pinaud Lime Sec, Nivea Sensitive Balm

A successful two and a half pass shave. This razor was my second antique store buy, was so badly tarnished and at the time I didn't even know what I was buying...but it looked pretty cool and was a really good price! I've been pretty wary of it, as it is open comb and known for being an aggressive/efficient razor. It's bitten me a number of times. Fortunately today was a better story. I had no issue going ATG, except for some minor irritation and one weeper. I don't recall having gone ATG on the chin with this razor, but today went well. I believe shaving with the vintage SE razors and having to get more comfortable with blade feel has led to shaving successfully with this razor.

I'm glad your success with SEs is translating to success in other areas of shaving as well.

Razorock ECO, Catie's Bubbles Fouet L' Orange soap, Omega 102 boar, no AS---orange aroma left by soap left me craving an orange!! Had to settle for a pear!

Razor: British Made Ever Ready 1912
Blade: Gem
Brush: STAR Bone Handle Badger
Soap: Palmolive Shave Stick
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Vintage Palmolive
Fragrance: Scuderia Ferrari Black
Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1,103

Great shave with my aluminum handle ER 1912 Made in England. Had a generous viewer and YouTuber reach out and gift me a Bakelite case for this razor I had and wanted to thank him. Great shave but #11 on the Gem although giving great results is pushing it for my whiskers and was binned after the shave. Hope everyone has a great Sunday !

Cold Water Rinse
Col. Conk Amber Shave Soap

Fuzzy Catcher
Personna GEM SS PTFE

Aqua Velva Musk AS

Day 14 of 3D Printed Razor Month.

The Col. Conk Amber Shave Soap lathered well with the Oscar11 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Fuzzy Catcher Lather Catcher Razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
