And I was told magicians never revealed there secrets. Jigs would definitely help. I have a band saw but it doesn't cut very straight and needs a new band/blade ( not sure of the proper term ) when I get the replacement I will have to watch a fee videos on tuning a band saw. Maybe then I can make accurate enough cuts to try something like that.
I don't have a table saw or miter saw. And I'm not that good with a hand heald pull saw. I know some people are and it always amazes me.

Here is a handle I made for twhite recently. It can be used with SEs with the adapter screw I included or unmentionables without the adapter screw.

       

Here is what the adapter screw looks like. The larger thread fits most common SEs and the smaller thread fits most Lather Catchers and a few oddball SEs.

I'm really happy with how this brush I made for a friend turned out. I had the blank custom made. The knot is a Maggards 26mm SHD badger.

I made this Cocobolo razor handle for another friend. I may have to make another for myself if I ever get time. 
The black handle is an original for size comparison.

Here is my latest brush. I finished it September 17. It was done by request. It is a vase shape.
