I had an unmentionable similar to what that started life as in simular shape. I sanded the top till it was smooth with progressively finer grit sandpaper then polished it to a near mirror finish. You could do the same with that one.
I might eventually but got a cheap unmentionable with a broken tooth on it's way to me. That will be my focus to make it shine as a SHaDE razor.

You really should read and get caught up. Mine had a broken off tooth and was why I could afford it. I made it usable and eye pleasing to me

Usually I would agree with that. In this case I am kind of not on board. I like the idea of turning a unmentionable into a real razor. There are plenty of them out there. Kind of like turning a classic into a custom car.

I wanted to try making one after seeing all the posts. I used a Dollar Tree $ 1.25 unmentionable that was messed up about 6 months ago. It turned out to be a great shaving razor, kind of aggressive. I have a stainless steel handle I use with it now.
